Welcome to Paul’s Picks, a weekly segment where I showcase some the best deals on the market here in the Peninsula. From single-family homes and condos to 2-4 units and large apartments complexes even vacant lots, I closely and constantly monitor a wide arrange of product types seeking out the top values. If you would like to discuss a property in more detail or find out about other properties that may fit your needs better please give me a call at (650) 348-2020.

Paul’s Pick #1 – 1410 Hillcrest Boulevard – Millbrae [click here for more]

1410 Hillcrest Boulevard

My first pick for this week is 1410 Hillcrest Boulevard in Millbrae. This raze ranch-style fixer-upper is perfect for you investors out there who like to flip properties due to its potential to increase its square footage by adding on to existing structure and finishing off the basement space below. Listed at $899,000, this is strategically listed to receive multiple offers and sell for well above a million dollars. However, I believe you can secure the property at a 5-10% discount by buying a clean non-contingent offer due to the property’s condition.

Paul’s Pick #2 – 2521 Poppy Drive – Burlingame [click here for more]

2521 Poppy Drive

My second pick for this week is 2521 Poppy Drive in one of Burlingame’s most sought after neighborhoods, Easton Addition. This 4-bedroom 3-bathroom Spanish-style home has been thoroughly updated while seamlessly maintaining its 1920s charm. It has now been on the market for just over two weeks. The sellers are highly motivated and are reviewing offers as they come, meaning you can secure the property as its list price of just under 2.1 million dollars, which is a 150 dollars per square foot less than the neighborhood average.

Paul’s Pick #3 – 1659 Park Avenue – San Bruno [click here for more]

1659 Park Avenue

For my final pick this week, I’m taking you back to one of my favorite neighborhoods in San Bruno, Mills Park, at a home located at 1659 Park Avenue. As I’ve mentioned before, I love this neighborhood and the surrounding area because the growth potential due to its proximity to the Bayhill business park where Google has increased its Youtube offices, and where WalmartLabs, a satellite office of ?? and other businesses reside. The home itself offers great potential to add your own equity by remodeling the kitchen and bathroom, and I love the family room which is a unique feature to homes in this neighborhood.
