Paul’s Pick #1 – 31 Tacoma Street – San Francisco (Call for more details)

My first pick this week is dedicated to all my friends who lives in San Francisco who may think it’s impossible to own in such a beautiful yet expensive city. Well let me tell you why in doing so for just $1350 a month. One property I’ve been circling is 31 Tacoma Street, which is a duplex in the cetnral Richmond district. Just listed for $995,000 but it’s been on the market for 40 days, telling me it’s about 15%-20% overpriced. Now I like this property at by $825,000. I plan to bring in a business partner and we occupy one unit while we rent out the other. So at 20% down at a 3.85% interest rate, our total monthly payments comes up to just over $4,000, factoring the income received, and we rent only in San Francisco for just $2,700, or $1,350 a piece.

My second pick this week is 1723 Juniper Avenue in my favorite neighborhood of San Bruno Mill’s Park. This home is perfect for young families who are looking for a home that can grow as their family grows given the property’s expansion potential. Listed for $879,000 for two weeks, and I think it’s possible to secure for under ask.

My third pick this week is 2720 Trousdale Avenue in Burlingame. This classic Mills Estate ranger has great bones, making it easy to update, and add your own personal value. At 1.9, I think it’s priced just right.
