    Paul’s Pick #1 – 3390 Shasta Drive – San Mateo [click here for more]

    For my first pick this week, I have 3390 Shasta Drive in the lower neighborhood of San Mateo. I like this opportunity for its overall size and condition. The over 2000-square foot 4-bedroom 2 1/2-bathroom home is completely turnkey. I like the finishes and the high-end appliances that the seller has chosen. What I’m really drawn to here is the over 10,000-square foot lot with a beautifully landscaped backyard. If you like to entertain, then this home is for you; the deck and the barbecue area is perfect for those summer barbecues. Listed at $1.9, you cannot get a better home in better condition for this size in this location throughout the peninsula, even with a 10-15% bump in price, it’s still a great deal. Better check it out this weekend though; it won’t last long.

     

     

    Paul’s Pick #2 – 1870 Parkview Drive – San Bruno [click here for more]

    For my second pick this week, I have 1870 Parkview Drive in my favorite neighborhood of San Bruno, Parkview Terrace. So thing for this week has kind of been size and condition, and like Shasta, Parkview Drive has it in space; over 2600-square feet, beautifully remodeled, and as I have said about other Parkview Terrace homes: if you are a Millbrae buyer, or a San Mateo buyer looking for a home of this size, you need to expand you search to include this neighborhood in San Bruno. It’s very comparable to those two locations especially with the expansion of the Youtube campus in the Bayhill shopping complex. Moving forward, I am very bullish on San Bruno in general. So again, if you area San Bruno/Millbrae/San Mateo buyer looking for a large home, possibly even working home, you need to be checking out 1870 Parkview Drive.

     

     

    Paul’s Pick #3 – 3122 Margarita Avenue – Burlingame [click here for more]

    I have 3122 Margarita Avenue in the Mills Estates neighborhood of Burlingame. This is a great value-add opportunity. Structurally, the home is in amazing shape, at least gotta get rid of grandma’s old finishes for something more modern. But why this is a pick is because right now I think a lot of the buyers are focused on the property listed at Manzanita in the Millbrae Mills Estates because of the remodel there and the views it enjoys. However, I think the better play is to get Margarita because of the value-add. So while other buyers are focused on Manzanita. be the one to get Margarita at a great value.
