Paul’s Pick #1 – 20 Drayton Road – Hillsborough [click here for more]

For my first pick this week, I have 20 Drayton Road in Hillsborough. If you saw my post yesterday, you got a sneak peek at this gorgeous Spanish-revival. It is a home that I instantly fell in love with, because it is the perfect example of a home not just being remodeled, but restored. Yes, you have a beautiful brand new kitchen, brand new bathrooms, but what sets this home apart is the developer kept a lot of the original finishing details. From the tile around the fireplace, Manila light fixtures, sconces, rod iron work, and the product is a perfect blend of modern conveniences with period detail, with a level of authenticity that is rare. Whether you’re a home buyer in the 4 1/2 to 5 million dollar range, or you’re an owner of a Spanish-style home yourself looking for some inspiration, 20 Drayton Road is a must-see.

Paul’s Pick #2 – 107 Lomitas Avenue – South San Francisco [click here for more]

My second pick this week, I have 107 Lomitas Avenue in the Buri Buri Neighborhood of South San Francisco. This 3-bedroom 1-bathroom home is great for first time home buyers. I love the expansion potential and the ability to add equity by updating the services over time. But why this is a pick is because it’s just entered its 23rd day on the market, telling me you can get at or below its current list price. Now this showcases just how important pricing still is even in this hot market. See, what buyers and buyers-agents for that matter have been accustomed to is everything is selling for over for this price, so they automatically tack on 5% to the current list price. So what happens when you have a home at its current value when it’s installed, it is exactly what is happening here on Lomitas Avenue. I believe they were listed for just under $800,000 or $799,000 would have jump past the $860,000 market ads right now, so take advantage of this market and make use anything below $860,000 is a great value.

Paul’s Pick #3 – 772 Walnut Avenue – Burlingame [click here for more]

For my final pick this week, I have 772 Walnut Avenue in Burlingame Park. It’s a great 4-bedroom 3 1/2-bathroom home on a large 9,000-square foot lot. Move when ready, walking distance to Burlingame Avenue; this home really sells itself, I don’t need to go on and on. Go out and check it out now. Listed at just under 2.4, it is gonna fly out the shelf.
