Paul’s Pick #1 – 810 Lombardi Lane – Hillsborough [click here for more]
For my first pick this week, I have 810 Lombardi Lane in Hillsborough. I absolutely fell in love with this 1930s Spanish-clone revival the moment I laid eyes on her, which should come to no surprise because if you’ve been following my post you know I love the charm and crafstmanship that come with homes built in this era, and there’s no better example than 810 Lombardi Lane. From all the rod-iron work to the leather-glass windows, high-timbered ceilings, all the woodwork, every square inch of the home exudes elegance and authenticity. When you purchase a home like this, you’re not just buying a piece of property, you are truly buying a work of art. And whether or not you can afford the 4.8 million dollar price tag, you need to go up open houses this weekend and see it for yourself, because pictures do not do it justice.
Paul’s Pick #2 – 461 State Street – San Mateo [click here for more]
For my second pick this week, I have duplex at 461 State Street in San Mateo. This property consists of 2 2-bedroom 1-bathroom units, and is great for owner-occupiers or investors alike. The side-by-side configuration gives you and your tenants more privacy and also allows the units to run off for a higher premium, compared to that of a single-family home rather than an apartment or a duplex. I also like this property’s location, close to the border of Burlingame to get a lot of the benefits of living in Burlingame but a cheaper San Mateo price tag.
Paul’s Pick #3 – 1261 Sleepy Hollow Lane – Millbrae [click here for more]
For my final pick this week, I have 1261 Sleepy Hollow Lane situated on a nice quiet street of the Millbrae Meadows. I like this 3-bedroom 2-bathroom because of the east add-value opportunity, because structurally the home is in great shape, simply update the kitchen and bathroom with a finish of your liking, and enjoy your newly found equity.
