Paul’s Pick #1 – 402 Poinsetia Avenue – San Mateo [click here for more]
For my first pick this week, I have 402 Poinsetia Avenue in the San Mateo Village. This home is completely turnkey. I love the finishes the owner has chosen, and the choosen is one of the best I’ve seen in that neighborhood. But what I’m really excited for this home is that it resides in over a 7800-square foot lot which is extremely rare for the area, making this opportunity perfect for those young families who may have outgrown their entry-level home, who need that space both inside and out.
Paul’s Pick #2 – 1449 Drake Avenue – Burlingame (Call for more details)
For my second pick this week, I have 1449 Drake Avenue in Burlingame’s Easton Addition. This home is listed for just under 2-million 450, which is a good value for a 2900-square foot home in this area, and is entering it’s 3rd week on the market, telling me this home can be yours for its list price. Now I believe the reason for its slight stall is that most buyers expect the price to jump 5 and 10 percent, however, given the condition of the bathroom and the kitchen, the market didn’t quite align this new higher value, so no one placed an offer. So take advantage of this market misqueue and secure this home at its list price, which gives you still plenty of room to make these upgrades and at the end, you’ll still be making money. However, this opportunity will not last long, so if you’re interested, you need to act fast.
Paul’s Pick #3 – Atlanta Falcons
And for my Super Bowl picks, I’ve got the Falcons plus 3. I’m taking it under a 58 and a half, and overall I have the Falcons with the upset over the Patriots, 27-26 by a last minute field goal by Matt Brian. Sorry all you Serra Padres fans, Tommy is not beating out Joe this week.
