Paul’s Pick #1 – 403 Cypress Avenue – Millbrae [click here for more]
For my first pick this week, I have our very own listing at 403 Cypress Avenue in Lomita Hills neighborhood of Millbrae. This 3-bedroom one-bathroom home is the perfect entry-level Millbrae home because it is so rare to find a west of El Camino location in Millbrae that is listed for under a million dollars. Bring your contractors though, this is quite the fixer, but a great add-value opportunity whether you’re looking to simply update the existing structure, or double the size of the home by adding to the level. With an over 5500-square foot lot, you have a lot of possibilities. This is tenant-occupied though, so showing schedules are limited, so check us out this Sunday between 1 and 4PM.
Paul’s Pick #2 – 815 Acacia Drive – Burlingame [click here for more]
For my second pick this week, I have 815 Acacia Drive in Burlingame. If you saw my Facebook Live feed yesterday, you saw a sneak peek, and you know that I have a soft spot in the heart for craftsman-style homes, and this one is no exception. I absolutely love the front porch and all the woodwork and all the detail that go into homes like this, and I really like its finished-off basement space — perfect for those man-caves, ideal for those Super Bowl parties that some of you Pats fans are probably still recovering from, and I love its overall location. Being walking distance from Burlingame Avenue, I believe the Burlingame Terrace neighborhood some of the best for its price point.
Paul’s Pick #3 – 849 Bermuda Drive – San Mateo [click here for more]
My final pick this week is for all you investors out there at 849 Bermuda Drive in San Mateo. I love this 6-unit building’s location, appealing to both San Francisco and Silicon Valley commuters alike. It’s also a very attractive unit mix, with 4 2-bedroom units and 2 3-bedroom units. Your only issue with the property is, is that it’s overpriced for about 10%. I like it for about a 3.3 million dollar price point, allowing you to easily achieve a 4% cap rate. However, since it’s been on the market for about a month, this gives you the opportunity to negotiate an even lower price, for your better returns.
