Team Profiles
William GilmartinChief Operating Officer |
Bill entered the real estate business in San Mateo County in 1963 and quickly realized that he had made the right career choice. In 1965, Bill became the youngest Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Club and recalls that in those days it required closing in excess of 50 transactions to produce one million dollars in annual sales. Today our annual goal produces 100+ million annual sales. In 1970 Bill founded Gilmartin "Investments in Real Estate" and during the 70's built it into one of the leading agencies on the peninsula, serving in excess of 4,500 clients. In the early 80's, a vigorous investment agenda had grown up in concert with the brokerage activities resulting in the development of several hundred residential lots plus multi-family residential, commercial, and industrial re-development. In the 90's, with the changed environment in the real estate investment business, Bill has come full circle and returned to his first love, residential brokerage. Today Bill, along with his dynamic wife Maureen, is affiliated with the premier "State of The Art" real estate firm of its time: The Gilmartin Group, A Sharevest Inc. Real Estate Company. |
Maureen GilmartinExecutive Vice President |
Maureen's participation in the real estate business began in the mid-1970's when she assumed responsibility for the marketing departments of the Gilmartin "investments in real estate". Maureen continued in this capacity until early 1992 when she was determined to obtain her real estate license in order to work directly with clients in the purchase and sale of real estate. To date, Maureen has enjoyed a fantastic career, participating in excess of 500 million in sales! She regularly contacts at least 100 people per week working to bring buyers and sellers together. Although Maureen is consistently ranked number one both locally and nationwide for her real estate accomplishments, that's not what gives her the greatest level of professional satisfaction. "What's really important to me is that I love my job and I love my community," says Maureen, who works alongside her husband, Bill, and two of her four sons, Tim and Dan. |
