William Gilmartin

Chief Operating Officer

Bill entered the real estate business in San Mateo County in 1963 and quickly realized that he had made the right career choice. In 1965, Bill became the youngest Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Club and recalls that in those days it required closing in excess of 50 transactions to produce one million dollars in annual sales. Today our annual goal produces 100+ million annual sales. In 1970 Bill founded Gilmartin "Investments in Real Estate" and during the 70's built it into one of the leading agencies on the peninsula, serving in excess of 4,500 clients. In the early 80's, a vigorous investment agenda had grown up in concert with the brokerage activities resulting in the development of several hundred residential lots plus multi-family residential, commercial, and industrial re-development. In the 90's, with the changed environment in the real estate investment business, Bill has come full circle and returned to his first love, residential brokerage. Today Bill, along with his dynamic wife Maureen, is affiliated with the premier "State of The Art" real estate firm of its time: The Gilmartin Group, A Sharevest Inc. Real Estate Company.


Maureen Gilmartin

Executive Vice President

With her four sons fully grown and out of the house, Maureen Gilmartin decided to get down to business—as in the family business. Soon, she discovered that the skills she fine-tuned in fundraising and volunteering transferred naturally to the real estate market. More than two decades later, she personally produces over $40 million in annual sales. But it’s not just about building relationships and focusing on the bottom line. Maureen also sees herself as the firm’s biggest cheerleader and mentor, now grooming a third generation of Gilmartins in the family business. With 15 grandchildren spanning ages 3 to 28, it’s safe to say she keeps a busy schedule both inside and outside the office.


Tim Gilmartin

President, CCIM

Not only is Tim Gilmartin a dedicated realtor, a husband and father of two, a golf lover, a racquetball player, and an avid fisherman, but he also manages to take time out of his busy schedule to teach two college courses. As an instructor with the College of San Mateo, Tim Gilmartin takes pride in sharing his extensive knowledge and background of the real estate profession with his students. He teaches two classes during the year, Real Estate Economics and Commercial Investment Property Analysis. These courses help his students learn the basics of real estate and better understand how to analyze transactions. After completion of these 17 week courses, students emerge with a complete understanding of the basics of real estate along with an in depth knowledge of property analysis. It is his hope that through his teaching methods and style, he will inspire others to take advantage of the lifestyle a realtor has to offer.


Dan Gilmartin

Executive Vice President

Dan Gilmartin, Executive Vice President of the Gilmartin Group. After college at Chapman University, Dan entered the world of real estate in 1995 and from that start Dan has proven to be at the leading edge of real estate trends, sales and marketing techniques. Dan's energy and vitality is consistent during all client interactions. A resident of Hillsborough CA, Dan is a proud husband and father of three boys (Daniel Jr., Finnegan & Seamus). When Dan isn't in the office you can find him working on his home, coaching baseball or soccer, snow skiing, fishing or golfing. In Dan’s 21 years in the business he has achieved outstanding feats by helping the Co. grow to $100 million in annual sales by speaking to over 100 thousand people, going on well over 700 presentations and showings appointments. During this time Dan also invented a software program working with a team of developers. The program helps real estate agents build a predictable and duplicateable business plan along with a real time performance tracking system. The Gilmartin Group has been using Dan’s software program “Real Salespower” since 2003 and is a key element in the Gilmartin Group’s success. Dan is also very involved in the community by donating his time to PARCA,  coaching in Hillsborough Little League and AYSO soccer, serving on HLL Board Of Directors, and from time to time working as a Teacher's Aid. Growing up on the Peninsula from San Bruno to Hillsborough, Dan has a deep root of friends, family and networks throughout the entire greater Bay Area.  Clients constantly come back to Dan and refer him to their friends and family because of his calm approach, knowledge of the real estate market and process. Dan sticks to a specific schedule that optimizes his time in order to give every client the special attention they deserve.  One will find Dan saying “Successful business takes place when the client enjoys the product.”


Cherie Feist

Executive Administrator

Operations Manager and Escrow Coordinator for all Listings and Sales. Cherie, a lifetime Bay Area resident, has worked with the Gilmartin Group since 1999.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.


Paul Beaudreau

Sales Associate

Paul graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Services and minor in History.  While attending school Paul was extremely active in his Fraternity holding many positions including Vice President of Recruitment, Chapter House Manager, Vice President of New Member Education and Chapter President.  After graduation Paul decided to move back home to Burlingame to help his parents manage their income properties and to pursue a career in Real Estate.  In his free time Paul likes to stay active by going to the gym, playing Gaelic football, snowboarding and backpacking.


Joanna Lem

Sales Associate

Joanna graduated from California Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising. She also minored in Sociology and French. Her junior year of college was spent abroad in Paris, France, where she had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe. After graduation she returned to the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue her dream career in real estate. With the mentorship of the Gilmartin Group she is able to explore her passion for real estate on a daily basis.  In her free time Joanna likes to travel the world and learn more about other cultures and languages.


Dreux Hansen


Dreux is a lifelong Peninsula resident and a fourth generation Californian. Dreux grew up in Hillsborough attending its elementary and middle schools. He went to Crystal Springs Uplands and attended The University of Southern California majoring in English. Dreux’s passion for real estate stems from his interest in architecture, history and the inherent uniqueness of each property he sees. Dreux’s work with real estate began three years ago when he worked with noted San Francisco real estate economist Lynn Sedway.  At Sedway Consulting he learned about real estate development, land use issues and their economic implications, as well as managing a consulting business. Customer service has been a primary focus during all of Dreux’s work experience and he looks forward to bringing together these interests while working with buyers and sellers on the Peninsula.


Katie Gerhardt

Property Manager/Agent

Katie is a true Gilmartin through and through, although her last name does not reflect this as she was recently married last September.  Katie has been around the real estate business for her entire life and has finally made the decision to join the Gilmartin Team.  Katie has always had a solid work ethic with a driven mentality that she credits to her family, involvement in sports, and dedication to many different work environments over the years.  She has worked in the restaurant business both serving and supervising, learning a lot about quality customer service along the way.  One of Katie's strong suits is the ability to communicate with different people while managing diverse personalities.  Katie graduated from Santa Clara University in 2009 and is now using her expertise in communication and customer service to assist in the growth of the Property Management sector of the Gilmartin Group's business.
