It is really interesting to understand why I am so excited to come to work each day. It is challenging to say the least. Some of my competition is exemplary and very fined tuned. Yet some of the competition is so inferior that one wonders what buyers and sellers are thinking during the hiring process. The preparation for these listing presentations is an in depth process that includes knowing the history of the property, knowing the comparable areas, and knowing the micro-position of the area.
It is also important to know the neighbors, community, and schools. We supply the packers, cleaners, painters, electrician, carpet layers, and flooring people. We also stage the yard, provide the furniture and at times even a waterfall. We can also coordinate new plants, new light fixtures, new plumbing fixtures and even a new front door. We can do all of this and more within a month’s time! And, we love to do it.
This is what we do for a lower commission, with more experience (5,000+ real estate transactions) and rather than one person we are a team of four with 108 years of combined experience in the business. We have a full time staff supporting each member of the Gilmartin Group including an Escrow Coordinator, Marketing Director, professional photographer, an Administrative Assistant, along with a 24 hour answering service. We do TV ads (200 times per week), advertise in the newspaper, magazine ads, a variety of mailers, and I personally make 22 contacts a day telling our database about our new listing.
